Early Childhood would like to invite our pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students to celebrate the 2025-26 school year on May 27. Please meet in your child’s homeroom for a final gathering as a class at the following times:
- Pre-k for 2 year-olds Brackett and Jackson: 10:45 a.m.
- Pre-k Dawson, Phillips, Lawrence, Shuppert: 10:30 a.m.

After our homeroom goodbyes, there will be activities on our early childhood playground, including farm animals from Honey Hill Farm. You are welcome to bring a blanket and a snack to share with your family. Please do not share with others due to our allergy protocol.
This has been a wonderful school year, and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Parent Community News
Note from PC Chair Lindsay Cassady
Dear Doherty,
Three years ago, when I signed up to volunteer, I thought I was simply agreeing to fill an open PC role. Instead, I found friendship, purpose, and a community that shaped me in ways I never expected. Thank you.
We have been through a lot together. Through the uncertainty, faculty and families stepped in again and again, supporting each other and creating so many joyful moments for our community.
As my role winds down, I am full of gratitude for the faculty, staff, students, and families. You are what makes Doherty special. The way this community rallies, celebrates, and shows up is extraordinary.
Next year will be emotional, but I promise to lean in. I will welcome new friends. I will show up. I will celebrate. And as we walk through this change together, I promise to bring the best of Doherty with me.
With so much love and gratitude,
Lindsay Cassady
Doherty PC Chair
Spirit Shop Happenings
Thank you for your support and for showing your Seven Hills spirit all year long. Happy Summer!
We’ll be adding new merchandise to our online store all summer, so be sure to check back for fresh arrivals at the Spirit Shop. After June 5, orders will be filled every couple of weeks. If you have an urgent need, please reach out to us!
Work with us!
We’re looking for volunteers to help with the Spirit Shop throughout the 2026-27 school year. It’s a fun way to meet other parents, support the school community, and help keep our Seven Hills spirit shining strong!
Fill out the Volunteer Interest Form or contact Lindsay Cassady and Leesa Pruett Ceron at Spirit.Shop@7hills.org. Thank you again for supporting the Spirit Shop and our Seven Hills community!
Announcements
Lost and Found
There are several items in our lost and found. Please take some time to go through them before the end of the school year. Any items left over will be donated.
Uniform Closet
As we look ahead to the next school year, we will begin phasing out the Uniform Closet. At this time, we have an abundance of girls’ uniform items and are only able to accept a limited number of larger boys’ sizes (primarily Unit III sizes).
Families are welcome to browse the closet and take any items that may be useful for their students as we work to transition out the program.
