Doherty Blast Apr 26, 2024
Dear Doherty Families,
We are filled with anticipation for our upcoming Arts Alive event on Friday afternoon and evening! We know this evening will highlight the creativity, talent, and the vibrant spirit of the arts in our community. I want to extend my gratitude to you for your incredible patience and understanding as we worked through some dismissal logistics for this event.
Believe it or not, fall sports registration begins on Monday, April 29. Please be sure to watch for information if your child is interested in participating.
Tuesday, April 30, is a busy day at Doherty! Our Unit II students will be heading to Great American Ballpark for a field trip. The Doherty and Lotspeich kindergarten students will be meeting together at Doherty for a shared activity. We finish the evening with Doherty Drama Night for kindergarten to Unit II.
It is hard to believe that we are moving into May, but it is also Pre-K Mini Pig time! For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to attend this event it is always a highlight. Our pre-kindergarten students prepare for their Mini Pig run by learning about keeping their bodies healthy and the importance of being active. The run begins at 11 a.m. on our pre-kindergarten playground.
Next week’s important dates for your calendars:
