Upper School Blast Dec 8, 2023
Dear Families,
We’ve been reviewing in classes this week to get ready for semester exams. The exams call on students to review, reflect on, and synthesize material from across the semester, and are a valuable way for them to consolidate what they’ve learned all year.
Below is the overall schedule for exam week. In today’s student blast, the Upper Schoolers will see more specific information about room assignments and similar logistics. Morning exams run 8:30-10:30 a.m., and afternoon ones run 12:45-2:45 p.m. As per the handbook, if a student is too ill to attend school on the day of a semester exam, please send the Upper School office a note from a doctor.
Although the campus and cafeteria are open next week, Upper Schoolers only need to be here for exams themselves, and are free when they are not testing. They are considered dismissed after they finish their last exam of the day.
Best,
Matt

Parent Walking Club
We are a group of parents who get together bi-weekly on Wednesdays after morning drop off to talk and walk the lower soccer field. All divisions are welcome, and no RSVP is required. This group provides you a great opportunity to connect with other community members all while getting your steps in! Please park in the lower field parking area; campus guest passes will be passed out to ensure visibility, for security purposes. When inclement weather occurs, we gather at Element Eatery to chat. Our next meet up is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Our subsequent date is Jan. 10, 2024. I look forward to chatting with you soon.
