Come join us for an afternoon of music, featuring vocal and instrumental soloists from the Upper School on Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. in The Schiff Center. All are welcome!

LEAD Together with David Yeager Recap — Webinar Available until March 10

If you’ve ever wondered how to push your child toward their potential without it feeling like pressure, or how to give feedback that actually lands, check out this webinar with David Yeager. Yeager is one of the country’s leading researchers on adolescent motivation. His work centers on a powerful idea: young people thrive when the adults in their lives hold high expectations and communicate genuine belief in their ability to meet them. There’s real science behind what makes it work … and real practices you can bring home.

Watch the webinar. It is available until March 10.

Middle School Talent Show — Friday, March 13

Does your Middle Schooler have a talent to share with their peers? If so, the Middle School is holding our annual talent show on Friday, March 13, in the afternoon. Students received a Google Form to sign up for auditions a few weeks ago from Mrs. Hanley. If your child hasn’t signed up yet, please encourage them to complete the form right away, as today is the deadline! Once we know how many acts will be in the show, we will have a better sense of the start time, but it is typically around 1:45 p.m. If you have questions, please reach out to Hannah Hanley or Jennifer Licata.

Seventh Grade Volunteering — Friday, March 13

The seventh grade will be volunteering at Matthew 25: Ministries on Friday, March 13. They will leave school around 9:45 a.m. and return to school around 12:30 p.m. If you have any questions please get in touch with the seventh grade team leader Carri Haskins.

Parent Community News

Neurodivergent Parent Community Kick-Off — March 7

Come meet other parents and share your hopes for how this group can provide help and support. Lunch will be provided. See the flyer for more details.

Middle School Hangout at Slick City — Sunday, March 8, 2-4 p.m.

Middle Schoolers can join their friends at a new indoor park called Slick City! Prepare for an exhilarating ride down massive dry slides! While the giant dry slides are the highlight, Slick City offers a variety of other attractions to ensure a full day of action for everyone.

The cost is $5 (regularly $28.99). Drop off is at 2 p.m. and pick up is at 4 p.m. Please register, pay, and sign the waiver through Square. If your child wants food, drink or to play the arcade, they will need to bring their own money.
