Head of School Oct 13, 2023
Dear Seven Hills families,
Amid the tragic events unfolding in the Middle East, it didn’t seem respectful, this week, to devote my column to school activities.
We know that families here in our own community have been deeply affected by these events, and we want to do all we can to surround them with a community of care.
Throughout this week, the faculty and staff and the school counselors have worked to support our students by giving them opportunities to process their feelings. In the weeks ahead, we will continue do everything we can to ensure that, in accordance with our values, this remains a safe and respectful community for all.
In the meantime, to help you talk with your children at home, we thought it might be helpful to share these resources that our counselors have gathered.
Warmly,
Christopher Garten
