Photos of the Week

  • Middle Schoolers competed in the Middle School spelling bee in The Schiff Center.

  • Seventh graders traveled to the Doherty Campus to read the books they wrote about the solar system in science class to students in Unit I and pre-kindergarten.
  • Eighth graders learned about ancient Roman mosaics in Marcie Handler’s Latin class and created their own using dried beans.

  • The Middle School choruses had their winter concert in The Schiff Center.
  • As playful payback for her birthday, the seventh grade challenged math teacher Carri Haskins to complete a timed math problem — with her work shown — in front of the whole class.

Help Your Child(ren) Get Off to a Good Start in 2026!

Supplies
Now that we are almost halfway through the school year, many students need some help reorganizing and/or stocking up on the expected school supplies over break. Please refer to the Middle School Supply Lists 2025-26 and check in with your child(ren) to replenish any supplies they are short on or missing at this point in the year.

Carline Nametags
Refresh those car signs or create a new one for the first time. To help make the carline run as smooth as possible, please be sure to display your family name on the passenger side visor or dash board. Keep your sign simple and use large black letters on a white piece of paper. This simple sign will make dismissal much more safe and efficient. Thank you!

Attendance
Remember to enter any and all attendance changes in Veracross. This is the official school record and will alert all of your child’s teachers to your child’s plans. If your family plans to spend time away from school for multiple days or for non-medical reasons (vacation, travel, etc.) please email our Head of Middle School James Jessup to have these dates approved. Upon approval, please enter those dates in Veracross.

Transportation
In Middle School, as long as your student is aware of the plans, you do NOT need to enter changes to transportation in Veracross  If you need to inform your student of a last minute transportation change, please email Ms. Morelli as soon as possible and call the office 513.728.2450. Please understand that after 2:30 p.m, we cannot guarantee delivery of messages.

Parent Community News

Wishing our Seven Hills Middle School Community a restful winter break and Happy Holidays. Thank you for your support and all you do for our school community. We will see you in 2026!

Roadmap to College — Current Eighth Grade Parents

Join Head of Upper School Rick Tate and the college counseling team on Wednesday, Jan. 7 to discuss the Seven Hills Roadmap to College. There will be a morning and evening offering. Please note that this is designed for current eighth, ninth, and 10th grade parents. The team will dive into the strategic roadmap to college in a year-by-year approach. They will discuss current trends in college acceptances, focus points, and expectations.  Please reach out to us.pa@7hills.org with any questions. RSVP for morning event and see event details. RSVP for evening event and see event details.

Neurodivergent Community Gathering

A number of families have reached out expressing interest in building community with other families and caregivers who identify as neurodivergent themselves and/or have children who identify as neurodivergent. Neurodivergency includes a wide range of experiences, such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism spectrum, processing differences, and more.

We are exploring the creation of a community group to offer connection, shared resources, and space for learning across all four divisions. To help us understand interests and needs across our school community, we invite you to complete this brief interest form.
